Me Philippe Fortin has been in private practice since 1986 and specializes in real estate law as well as divided and undivided co-ownership. He collaborates with the National Bank of Canada and Desjardins on undivided co-ownership matters, and regularly works with notaries, land surveyors, lawyers, and builders in divided co-ownership. His expertise and knowledge in the field are well recognized.

His practice also offers services in personal law, estates, guardianships, and curatorships, as well as non-contentious proceedings. He works alongside a team of notaries and dedicated staff committed to client service.

James Bonhomme

Me James Bonhomme practices in the areas of commercial law, real estate law, and tax litigation. With over 30 years of experience, his mission is to advise and represent his clients effectively and at a reasonable cost, while providing them with personalized, high-quality service.

He graduated in law from McGill University and completed his legal training with a degree in Business Administration from McGill, as well as a Master’s in Taxation from the Université de Sherbrooke. He also holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.

His extensive background has enabled him to represent clients and plead cases before the Court of Appeal, the Superior Court, the Court of Québec, the Tax Court of Canada, and the Labour Relations Board (CRT).

Benoît Malboeuf

Benoît Malboeuf has been practicing as a tax specialist and accounting professional for over twenty years. He holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from the Université de Sherbrooke and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is also a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (CPA), the Canadian Tax Foundation (CTF), and the Association de planification fiscale et financière (APFF).

Benoît has taught, authored specialized articles, and advised his clients across all areas of taxation. To advance projects and foster growth, investors must make decisions that are well-informed, intelligent, responsible, and efficient—taxation is an integral part of this equation.

Eric Joseph Tremblay

Originally from Malartic, a Boomtown city in Abitibi, Eric Joseph Tremblay graduated from the School of Architecture at the Université de Montréal in 1996. He began his professional career at Scéno Plus (1996–2000), where he was part of the creative team behind Cirque du Soleil’s performance venues.

In 2001, he became one of the founding members of the Polygone Studio worker cooperative, where he worked on communicating architectural projects for numerous architectural firms. He has been a registered member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec since April 2009.

He now leads the BOOM-TOWN architecture studio, which reinterprets architectural projects by working with space, light, and material, drawing inspiration from the original Boomtown buildings characterized by their simple façades, square volumes, and flat roofs—an innovation at the time. Today, the simplicity and efficiency of these early designs inspire contemporary projects that, through architecture that is both innovative and contextual, enhance their environment and the experience of their users.
